RenewVerse Ltd ("RenewVerse", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Augur bioprocess simulation platform at augur.renew-verse.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our platform and services.

Account Information

• Email address (required for account creation)
• Name (if provided)
• Company name and role (if provided during onboarding or demo request)

Fermentation Data

• CSV files you upload containing time-series fermentation data (biomass, substrate, product, process parameters)
• Scenario configurations (scale-up parameters, DSP steps, cost assumptions)
• Simulation results and predictions generated by the platform

Usage Data

• Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
• Browser type, device information, and IP address
• Error logs and performance metrics

• Provide the Service: Run simulations, generate predictions, store your scenarios and results
• Improve the Platform: Understand usage patterns to improve features and accuracy
• Communicate: Send service updates, respond to support requests, and share product news (with your consent)
• Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access

Your data is yours. We treat all uploaded fermentation data as confidential and proprietary to you. Specifically:

• Your fermentation data is isolated per account and never shared with other users
• We do not use your proprietary fermentation data to train models for other customers
• We do not sell, license, or share your data with third parties
• You can export or delete all your data at any time
• Demo/synthetic data generated by the platform is not proprietary

• Hosting: Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS (US-East-1) with encryption at rest
• Transport: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
• Authentication: JWT-based authentication via Supabase Auth with secure token handling
• Access Control: Multi-tenant isolation ensures each user can only access their own data
• Backups: Automated database backups with point-in-time recovery

We retain your account and fermentation data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement.

We use the following third-party services that may process limited data:

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
• Vercel: Frontend hosting and CDN
• Railway: Backend application hosting
• Anthropic: AI co-pilot features (chat queries only; your fermentation data is not sent to AI providers unless you explicitly use the chat feature with data context)

You have the right to:

• Access, export, or delete your data at any time
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications
• Request information about how your data is processed
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (if applicable under GDPR)

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Local storage is used to remember your organism preference and onboarding state.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
